*The reason I included both Catholic and Christian is indicative of the community where I was raised. I’m a tiny tumblr who created this post in a late night moment of wanting to do something nice for my wonderful readers. If I knew anybody but them was going to see it, I would have been more careful! My original post was missing the h on the end of Hanukkah for goodness sakes XD
**Ramadan has passed, but I’m still leaving the greeting as a belated well wish to my lovely Muslim readers ^_^
It features the beautiful zine which has art, fanfictions and a gorgeous enamel collar pin.
This zine isn’t only for art geeks. The art is so gorgeous and the same applies to the fics. It includes various pairings. My favs are naturally again Victuuri and Sara/Mila.
You can still buy the zine plus various merchandise for example a Makkachin tote bag, a Casablanca Victuuri enamel pin, a Makkachin notebook or postcards.
the extent to which straight people don’t get gay humour is incredible like the whole thing is a satirisation of how gay people have been treated for years like the reason we say “___ is for gays only” is because yall have been going around calling everything you don’t like gay and we’re making fun of that dumb mindset and taking away the power of it and having fun and yall still come onto every gay satire post with this “what if straight people said this about you” like you have?? that’s why the post was made in the first place i don’t understand how yall are this oblivious it’s honestly baffling to me
someone in the lgbtqiaphallic+++ community: but the stonewall—
me, thinking of the research ive done and 17 page paper i wrote on why the stonewall riots were ultimately nonimportant and the real primary spark for us gay liberation was actually the burning embers of the unrest of every homosexual watching direct action political movements rise around them in the 60s:
Here is some advice from your soft butch mom… Don’t rush… let them all do their thing and you do yours.. Make time to get involved. Gay Pride, local women’s book clubs or volunteering at animal shelters. The more you can expand your friends in real life the more women you can find to connect with. Learning about many women helps you to figure out what makes you happy and you never know who knows who that is a good fit for you.
This is something a LARGE portion of the lesbian population doesn’t understand (and this is coming from hard learned lessons): Getting married and settling down is NOT the end goal of this life.. being happy and finding what brings you joy is the goal. That might be one person.. it might be a few people that pass through your life.. It might be a garden and a strong butch who comes by on the weekend to help you in it and wipes the dirt from your face so she can kiss you. It might be another femme who makes you feel warm at just a glance. It might be a rescue dog that leads you to a friendship circle of other dog owners.
The point is… don’t wait on love..It might not come in the traditional form your peers and our society tells you it should look like.. Love and having someone to share happiness and sadness with is important. But don’t make that the goal..that is what you find on the journey to other sets of goals.
