there
is nothing wrong with taking a step back from someone if they are becoming
overwhelming or having a negative impact on your wellbeing – please take care
of yourself and try your best to put yourself first
I wish healthy people were able to understand what it’s like to be normie sick as someone who has other health conditions.
It’s day one of me having a cold. I just started noticing the stuffed up nose and tickle in my throat. If I was otherwise healthy that would be about it, I might also be a bit more tired than usual.
But since I am not healthy, my symptoms that are different or higher than normal include:
Extreme fatigue, to the point where sitting propped up and typing is hard. Sometimes I get stuck and can’t move at all except for my eyes.
A wicked headache
Ringing ears
Lower back pain
Leg and foot spasms
Almost passing out after treatment
And that’s not including my other symptoms of…
Joint pain in my hands and arms
What can only be described as bone pain (it’s a Lymie thing)
Upper back and shoulder pain
TMJ
Brainfog
Dizziness
Abdominal pain
Nausea
My chronic illness doesn’t magically go away when I get normie sick. I am not better at handling a cold because “I’m always sick”. I am dealing with a cold (which at its peak can put a healthy person out for the count) AND I’m dealing with the flare ups + daily symptoms of chronic illness.
I guess I just wrote this to give people a better grasp on what it’s like for us to be sick and why it’s SO IMPORTANT to tell us you’re sick so we can chose to risk it or not. It’s probably not super clear cause I feel like crap but 💁🏻♀️
Can we talk about how most liberal feminists don’t know they’re liberal feminists they just assume theirs is the only kind of feminism?
^^^ good for him. Find yourself a sane, non-sexist woman.
“My Jewish Boyfriend Left Me When I Became A Nazi! Why????”
“Any sane man would leave a woman who acknowledges sex-based oppression and uses that realization to ensure her own safety and wellbeing and escape abuse uwu.”
Again, believe men when they tell you how bad they are.
