So what if another dude is CONVINCED he’s a woman at his core, he FEELS like a woman, he hates his body because it’s not the body of a woman, he’s got the “brain of a woman”… is this dude a woman?

The first man is racist. He immitates an oppressed group. He believes being black is a feeling rather than a biological reality. Everyone knows your race is something you have from birth. This man can paint his skin, alter his facial features, and wear a wig, but this man will never be black.

I.. what.. just… this reads like satire. But the sad truth is of course a man would think his special dubious condition is more real than well understood disorders and mental illnesses. 

I think…he was trying to say that autism, ocd, etc. are real things and that gender dysphoria is a real thing. But…anorexia…somehow…is made up?

I want dysphoric people to have access to medication, therapy, hormones, srs, I want them to have all-gender restrooms to use for their safety, I want them to be free from violence based on their presentation, gendernonconformity, and sexuality. This goes double for trans males who are homosexual.

I also want womanhood and female experiences to be respected, I want male people to stop attempting to claim the female experience (you don’t menstruate, jackass), I want homosexuals like myself to be free of all judgment for not wanting to partner with people of the opposite sex, regardless of their gender ‘identity,’ and I want female spaces to be left the fuck alone by male bodies because it is a danger to us to allow any male person into our spaces.

how is this difficult? How does this make me worthy of death and rape threats? I have endless compassion for dysphoric individuals and want the best for them.

I just don’t think ‘the best’ is erasing female accomplishments, having male violence be documented as female violence for validation purposes of the male, allowing all male people into female restrooms where they are free to take pictures of us, assault or rape us, harass us, or allow male people to participate in female sports or take spots in government as women when female people could be in those spots, or harassing lesbians and gay men for not wanting dick or pussy respectively, advocating for the death and rape of anyone who acknowledges biological reality or socialization as real, true things🙅🏻

been thinkin a lot today abt gay/lesbian solidarity and community.

specifically abt how throughout history, regardless of what straight people have been doing to us, weve had each other’s backs. abt lesbian and gay nurses staying by the sides of gay men dying of AIDS because they didn’t want these men to be dying alone. abt how much social progress for each other we’ve fought for, and how despite our intracommunity disagreements, we’ve come back to each other. I truly believe 2019 will be the year that we begin to develop that bond more. we’ve been abandoning our family for a while. I’m sick of it.
