i tried exporting my blog to wordpress the other day to back it up, which was fine. but when the posts started copying over, wordpress told me i didn’t have enough space and had to pay for more. fuck that.
so instead, i’ve started using an app called TumblThree? (the download is here if you’re curious.) basically it lets you download any blog from tumblr, posts and all. it’s really easy too!
it looks like this:
all you have to do to download your blog is type in your blog’s url into the search bar in the bottom left…
…and then hit the crawl button.
your blog should then start downloading!
excuse the shoddy ms paint tutorials i put together in 5 minutes btw
since tumblr’s own backup seems to take for-fucking-ever to process, and the 17th is extremely near, i figured i’d post this to help some people out. it’s helped me, anyway haha
I did not delete. I did not sell my URL (although I totally would have hmu). Tumblr simply saw fit to delete my blog because a disgruntled they/them spent what must have been hours reporting all of my posts because I hurt their feelings
But if you’re a neo-Nazi, a pedophile, a violent misogynist, or a homophobe, don’t worry! What you’re saying is perfectly fine according to tumblr.
You can still see the majority of my blog on wordpress. You can also see some of it on web.archive.org. and here of course.
Most of my blog was shitposts and roasting genderists and men. But among those posts were posts that I wish I had read when I was younger, and posts that I’ve had other women tell me changed their lives too. Posts that opened my eyes to so much; posts that helped me truly love and value myself and other women, where libfem “empowerment” ideas simply couldn’t.
It connected me to so many fucking incredible, brave women… women who escaped from arranged marriages, abusive families, women who are trapped in the sex industry, women who have been betrayed by liberal feminism, women who are securing womens’ rights in countries where there are none. Incredible and brave lesbians, compassionate gay men, resilient straight women, amazing bisexuals, and strong trans men.
We all know there’s something going on, because we’ve been connecting the dots. We’re not going to be silenced just because some of our blogs got deleted. We’re going to be galvanized into doing meaningful things in the real world. I’m going to continue helping women and donating my paychecks whether or not my blog gets deleted, and I’m going to continue to call out misogyny whether or not someone reports me
I encourage you all to do the same. Continue to cultivate and strengthen your resolve, continue to educate yourselves and others, and…. continue to reblog cat pictures
They deleted cocksmacher everyone. Follow op.
I’m pretty sure this is why they are ignoring my requests to un-terminate my blog. I told them maybe they should leave taxidermists and radfems alone and focus on all weird sex shit on their site and I’m pretty sure who ever is getting my complaints is literally just deleting my emails on sight. Fucking shitheads.
Anyway gore is cool and transwomen are not female 🙂 @staff can die mad about it.
Dear baby butches, please for the love of god when you wear a tie make sure you tie it properly and wear it at the right length. If its too long you look like you stole your 6’4 dads tie. Femmes will appreciate this, it makes you look sharp it makes it look like they can yank your tie to pull you close for a kiss and it isnt going to slide off.
**ON PLANTS : SOME PIECES OF ADVICE & LORE FROM FRENCH TRADITIONAL WITCHCRAFT**
These ancient superstitions and beliefs prove the deep respect human beings had for their environment, back to an era when we were aware of the unity of this nature.
HARVEST
– Avoid cutting the plant with a vile metal such as iron. The first mythical reason is that spirits (especially faes) abhor iron, known to repel and hurt them. Use a bronze or copper blade, sometimes even a gold or silver coin to dig up the roots. There also lies a logical, scientific explanation of a remarkable empiric coherence : iron salts quickens the action of the tannins contained in certain plants, significantly altering their components.
– Some plant spirits are not cooperative, so you’ll have to foil their harmful influence. Do not talk to anyone about your intention of picking the plant on your way to reach it, so as not to warn the spirit – thus counteracting any intention to flee it may have.
– Pluck the plant backwards to protect yourself from the spirit’s ire (this is particularly true of poisonous beauties such as foxglove, belladonna, etc.).
– Drawing a circle around the plant, using a wand or a knife, or even the finger, isolates the reaper from the wrath of the spirit while preventing it from escaping its plant host .
– It is expected to explain to the plant the intended use for which it is plucked.
– Pay a small tribute to the spirit of the plant as a salary for the effort youaskedfrom it.
PRAYERS, PLEAS & INVOCATIONS
« Je coupe ta verdeur parce que tu purifies toutes les humeurs qui entraînent l’Homme sur des chemins d’erreur et d’injustice ; par le Verbe vivant qui a fait l’Homme sans le regretter. »
•
“I will cut your greenness, so you could purify all the moods that lead Man on the paths of error and injustice; by the living Word who made Man without any regrets.”
(Supposedly from abbess Hildegarde de Bingen, who also advocates to cut the plant with the left hand)
« Ô toi par qui s’endort la nature, toi qui fais fuir le jour et amène la nuit, toi qui nous cache le soleil, qui engendre toutes les herbes et les donne aux humains pour la guérison… Celle qui vous a créée avec vos propriétés salutaires veut bien que je vous cueille. »
•
“O thou by whom nature falls asleep, thou who drive away the day and bring about the night, thou who hides the sun, who generates all the herbs and gives them to the humans for healing… She who made thou with all thy salutary properties allows me to pick thou. ”
« Lève-toi, lève-toi, va guérir X… Je sais que tu dors, mais j’ai besoin de toi. »
•
“Wake up, wake up, and come to heal X… I know you are asleep, but I need you.”
STORAGE
– Drying a plant makes it lose a large part of its properties. Whenever possible, always favor the use of fresh plants.
– The plants are hanging in a bouquet or spread on a flat surface to dry in openair.
– Plants are stored in glass jars or paper bags once fully dried. Iron boxes and containers are of course prohibited.
– Do not keep your plants more than a year: their power slowly fades then disappears, so you will have to renew the stock every year.

Lesbians I love you more than anything else on this planet and all your little posts are cute but do you all realize how much of a commitment running a small farm is
this is a huge reason why lesbians can go years just not figuring out that they aren’t attracted to men. when your whole understanding of attraction is “objectifying yourself to the point that you understand intimacy as a performance to be the perfect sexual object for a man” then the question of who and what you desire isn’t even being asked- let alone answered.
a few years back, i read “cinderella ate my daughter" by peggy orenstein (which is an interesting sort of crash course on the ways in which gender roles are really impressed on children through media, capitalism, toys, etc.). I read it like 5 years ago so if I get anything wrong, forgive me; I don’t own the book so I can’t consult it.
but one thing that really stuck with me was a part where the author speaks with (I believe) a child psychologist, and they talk about sexuality of teenage girls. one thing the psychologist mentions is that, when talking about sex, sexual attraction, etc, girls will frame it in terms of how they look, rather than how they feel when asked about their feelings (emotional and physical): “I feel like I look sexy, I look hot, etc,”. from the onset of experiencing sexuality, etc (which really means, going back to childhood, because girls are really bombarded by objectification from the time they’re tiny), girls are already alienated from their own bodies and sense of what feels good, right, or okay.
no wonder the process of realizing you’re a lesbian can be so difficult; it’s also no wonder that we have so many women who look back and say it took them years to realize that what happened to them was sexual assault, or who look back and say that they weren’t happy or satisfied in relationships but stayed in them anyway, or that women are so constantly critical of their appearances in everything they do. all of it comes down to the fact that women are so alienated from their own bodies, feelings, and experiences. monitoring how you look constantly really creates such a distance between you and your actual life, it takes you out of the moment, it makes it difficult to judge your actual feelings, or create boundaries, or bond genuinely with others, or have positive experiences free of self-criticism.
^This is a very good book!! Kirby highly recommends
Obsessively trying to eat strictly healthy food and micromanaging all your meals is NOT healthy. Being absolutely terrified of certain foods because they are not 100% “clean” is NOT healthy. Feeling bad for enjoying food, regardless of its nutritional value, is NOT HEALTHY.
