My sister works in a prison and today one of the guards was making inappropriate sexual comments to her.

She says she’s not going to report him, though, because there’s a chance she’d be raped and murdered.

Like the young female guard who was new on the job and reported her supervisor for sexual harassment. She was so new to the job that she hadn’t been cleared to be alone with prisoners yet. Her harassing supervisor ordered her to take care of an agitated and violent prisoner on her own. Being incompletely trained, the prisoner overpowered her, raped her, and murdered her.

But people wonder why women don’t report sexual harassment.

if anyone ever tells you “humans are just selfish / life is cruel / that’s just how the world is, get over it” be critical of them bc there’s a 75% chance they’re just using that as an excuse for their own shitty behavior so that they don’t have to put an effort into being better, kinder people

Just so we’re clear, if I point out that you did something racist, that’s not the same as me thinking you’re irremediably terrible. You did a racist thing.

You think you don’t do racist things, homophobic things, etc? You do. I caught myself in fat phobic and homophobic lines of thinking/speech just this morning. I’m fucking gay married. Nothing disqualifies you from acting in a way that reflects the society you exist in. We are obliged to fight it. Why not fight it in honesty and with camaraderie?

taking note of how quickly men calm down after you bend to their will is life-changing because you realize they were never really out of control, they were never really as angry and affected as they appeared. they just knew how to act out aggresssively enough to make you believe it was your fault that they lost their senses.

in 2019 we start recognizing men’s manipulation tactics and start living for ourselves!

Actual Man here: I don’t think we do this. From what I’ve seen, the scenario seems more like somebody gets angry, and then stops being angry once they want. We, or at least I, don’t metre out anger or act more furious than we are. What’s the point in still being mad once the person you were mad at is no longer making you angry?

You. Literally just admitted to doing exactly what she said men do

Dear sweet Goddess of Vengeance, they prove our points while thinking they do the opposite.

The most insidious thing about the discourse is that all genderists know they’re lying. They know what biological sex is. They know, but they lie and play stupid so we have to tell them over and over again the stuff they already know but won’t admit because they’re entitled and homophobic. No amount of explaining is going to help because they know. They know. They just hate gay people and women and have found a way to express that without facing consequences.

I literally had a girl say to me today (who has insisted you can’t tell biological sex by looking at someone ) insist that you CAN tell biological sex by looking at someone and therefore changing your sex on medical records and your passport to “they /them” doesn’t matter . They know it’s bullshit . It’s obvious by the fact they will literally swap arguments depending on the circumstance .

Because it varies from person to person how well they pass, and most people don’t tend to nitpick every little detail of how somebody looks because they’re not that fucking obsessive about it- especially if they just pass the other person on the street and neither of them has any intention of banging each other.

That being said, biological sex is a thing. If it wasn’t sex dysphoria would not exist. Sticking your fingers in your ears and going “LA LA LA” about it is basically a defense mechanism- a shitty one, but still.

Thanks for your input, idiot who thinks uteri would function in male bodies.

Why would that be an obstacle besides blood typing? Opposite-sex transplants of things like hearts and kidneys happen all the time.

The only thing I could think of is a lack of blood supply, which a sufficiently clever surgeon could work around. Granted it may be about thirty years off until we can solve that problem, but it may be able to work. Male and female humans aren’t really that different, especially compared to the sexual dimorphism in other species.

Women and men both have kidneys but only women have uteruses and ovaries. The male body will reject the uterus because it does not belong in a male body.

Good luck moving the intestines around to get the uterus to fit.

Women and men’s bodies are actually quite different even our skeletons are noticeably different.

You can’t just like… stick an extra organ in the wrong body and hope it works, cus it’s not going to lmao.

In their new paper, the authors Gershoni and Pietrokovsk looked at how active the same genes are in men and women. They measured the RNA produced by 18,670 genes in 53 different tissues (45 common to both sexes) in 544 adult post mortem donors (357 men and 187 women).

They found that about one third of these genes (more than 6,500) had very different activities in men and women. Some genes were active in men only or women only. Many genes were far more active in one sex or the other.

Yeah not *really that different* huh?

The human body, male or female, knows what to do with heart, lungs, kidneys, and all the organs that both sexes have in them. It knows what those are supposed to do so long as they are correctly connected to the right parts.

Putting a uterus in a male body is either going to kill the uterus or kill the male, probably.

We have absolutely zero clue if a uterus could EVER work inside a male body

Male body probably doesn’t even know what a uterus is, so my best guess given my limited knowledge of biology and anatomy is that the male body would literally attack the organ to try to kill it. Which happens with most transplants even with perfect matches which is why you’re on anti-rejection meds the rest of your life. Would those even work with a uterus? I dunno.

That’s not even getting into all of the numerous complications and other issues of putting a uterus in a male body.

Can’t natural birth a baby due to smaller pelvic bone.

Can’t get pregnant in a natural way due to no vagina and even if you had a remotely close neo-vagina (hint: doesn’t exist) to somehow connect to the uterus, that’s not gonna happen.

Maybe in vitro but then again the problem of birthing so you’re forced to a C-section.

That’s assuming a male body attempting to grow a fetus doesn’t just outright die from the uterus tapping into the males biological tissue to sap nutrients, blood, and other stuff for growing.

So have you remotely considered even half of this?

Though you probably have a very limited idea of how birth works from beginning to end so I’m gonna guess that’s a no.

Also, the uterus isn’t the only thing needed. There are also ovaries, where the eggs come from, the genetic knowledge of how to actually do the growing of the baby, and lack of supporting structures in the male body. The skeleton differences were mentioend, but even out fat distribution and capacity for stretching massively and still going back to near our original shape is way beyond anything a male body could ever do.

He couldn’t get a tight cap to cover his hair? The anti-blackness jumped the fuck out!

This is bullshit. Poor Andrew. Why could he just wear a cap? His hair doesn’t have to do with shit

As a female wrestler I KNOW, there is no rule that should have this man cut his hair. He could have been given a wrestling boat bonnet that goes over/under any wrestler’s head gear.

Female wrestlers can have their hair any length as long as it can be covered in the bonnet, even long hair male wrestlers.

Black hair has no effect on a wrestlers performance no matter the hair style (natural, dreads, any form of braids) and should not be required to be cut. Only if it is longer then a few inches, then it should be covered in a bonnet like any other longer haired individual never cut.

His hair didn’t even meet the length required to becovered by a bonnet. Really disgusting how outrageous and obviously racist the whole thing is.

Hair cutting has long been used as a form of humiliation and degradation. This is honestly horrible.

Honestly the trans community needs to be much more critical of binding in general.

There’s a ton of information about “safe” binding, but it’s still seen as the default way to deal with dysphoria. Binding alternatives still frame chest binding as the golden standard we can only hope to come close to.

The very rigid view of dysphoria and linear view of transition is partially to blame for this. If you’re dysphoric because your chest isn’t flat then compressing it is the solution and getting top surgery is the only logical next step. A lot of binding advice relies on the idea that this is temporary, something you’ll do for a few years and will never need to again after that. It’s completely and utterly wrong that people are assumed to make this commitment through wearing what seems like a simple piece of clothing.

People on all sides of the community are contributing to the problem, and for a variety of reasons. Some people are genuinely ignorant on how harmful binding is, some people believe it’s in the trans community’s best interest for binding to be seen as harmless, and some people know that it’s harmful but believe dysphoria is more important. But there’s no excuse. Binding is hurting trans people in a very literal way and that should be addressed by anyone who claims to care about us.
